In line with its role of awareness, SFDA launched a Health Awareness Portal for children between the age of 4-12 in the field of Food, Drug & Medical Devices, entitled, " Future Generation www.jeelalghad.com" in order to create an educated and informed generation which is aware of its food & health needs. The website's messages are based on a fundamental education principle, i.e:" Learning by Entertainment".



 Stories & Tales:

The website included different stories and tales of which some are animated to suit younger children, some are designed in the form of text and drawings, others are requiring children to answer some questions to complete the story, thus drawing children's attention and reinforcing information in their minds


Play & Have Fun:

Playing games is one of the Key practices adopted in awareness messages, wherein the scientific principle " Play & Learn" is exercised. The website contains three types of games: Assembling, Selection and Memorization games.




Draw & Color:

This section focuses on the development of children's thinking and exploration of their talents. It also helps children to express their needs and interests as well as discharging their energy in positive and fruitful activities. Children will color some beautiful drawings that reinforce good health habits and help children to accept and make use of these habits. The website also offers talented users the opportunity to share their drawings and exhibit them on the website for evaluation and comments by visitors.

Read & Learn:

This section provides direct information to children about several topics that are of children's interest, attracts their attention and helps in teaching them favorable behavior models. The section also contains contests and testing of information through motivation of children. The successful child will be granted a certificate bearing his name and age written in a beautiful manner. The successful child can also print and retain such certificate.

Interactive fields:

Children can interact with the website and other visitors through these fields. This will develop the skill of dialogue and disagreement with other parties in an atmosphere of joy and benefit. The section contains questions such as " Find Differences" and "Discover Mistakes" in the provided pictures .
