SFDA continued its business during Eid Al Fiter holidays in its main offices and sub-branches as well as points of entry of food, drug and medical devices & products sectors, in order to complete all clearance processes by SFDA’s inspectors.
At his part, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almish’al, CEO of SFDA has explained that a number of employees in the various SFDA sectors were assigned to finish work procedures during Eid Al Fiter holidays in all critical locations and that SFDA inspectors and supervisors will continue with their surveillance and inspection role as well as carrying out the SFDA Website services, e.g., electronic registration of organizations, clearance of goods by SFDA in addition of electronic inquiries about works, transactions’ progress and follow up of applications in order to ease importation process and ensure safety of food, safety and efficacy of drug and safety and efficiency of medical devices & products
