SFDA has recently collected samples of “Aghadeir Company Products” of Morocco that have alleged medications. Upon analysis of these products in SFDA’s laboratories, it is found that they contain some pharmaceutical components such as Cyproheptadine, contained in Aghadeir Body Max product, used as anti-allergy and weight gaining, and Tadalafil, in Aghadeir for Men Only product, used as sexual promoter and Anthraquinone used as laxative in Aghadeir for Fitness and Agility product .
SFDA confirms that Aghadeir Company Products of Morocco are Not registered and Not released by SFDA and their components are not specified. Therefore, trading in these products will be in violation to the Pharmaceutical Organizations & Products Regulations issued by the Royal Decree No. M/31 dated 1/6/1425H and its implementation Bylaws.
However, SFDA has addressed the concerned authorities to ban entry and selling of these products and recall any of them from the local market, and to take the necessary disciplinary action against any individual or organization importing, trading or acquiring these products
Moreover, SFDA advises consumers not to use the abovementioned products and dispose of any quantities that may be in hand as they are hazardous to the health.
