SFDA captured over 55 tons of decayed dates in a factory in Makkah

SFDA inspectors captured  huge quantities of expired dates  and other quantities of rotting dates in a dates products factory in Makkah, in addition to poor cleaning  of the factory warehouses and dead rats found therein.

In a statement, SFDA clarified that its inspection teams detected more than 55000 of expired dates products and other quantities of rotting dates in a dates products factory in Makkah, in addition to poor cleaning  of the factory warehouses and dead rats found therein. SFDA pointed out that these dates are used in processing of dates bi-products such as dates bakeries, ‘Mamoul, Dibs and the like.


SFDA is now proceeding with the necessary action against the violating factory.​
