Contaminants; Are the materials or compounds which causes Feed contamination; either Chemicals (ex: heavy metals, Dioxin and Pesticides), Or Physical (ex: Foreign bodies or insects) Or Microbial (ex: Salmonella and Escherichia coli), Or Mycotoxins and others.

All products subject to the supervision of the SFDA, according to their classification, have clearance requirements, as well as conditions of transportation and storage.

All of the requirements are published at the SFDA’s website. However, some products are not allowed to be exported through a third country (such as drug, fish and meat) except for specific conditions.

• Request additional clinical studies to provide the evidence of the safety and efficiency of the medical device
• Disseminating safety communication to users and health care providers

• . Acknowledgement of the Authorized Representative (AR) to inform the users when the Field Safety Notice is issued, and the preventive and corrective actions related to it.
  . Acknowledgement of the health care provider to complete the corrective action.
  .  Maintenance/service report.
  . Any other document according to the type of the Field Safety Notice and the corrective action.

The certificate of conformity shall be issued by an accredited certification company at the country of origin and shall be attested, and the certificate shall state that the product complies with Saudi standards issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
