The following technical regulations and standards are related to the shelf life of food:
- SFDA.FD 150-1 “Expiration dates for food products – Part 1: Mandatory expiration dates”
- SFDA.FD/GSO 150-2 “Expiration dates for food products - Part 2 : Voluntary expiration dates”
The scientific file must contain the following information:
- Safety studies in addition to be registered
- Safety studies on workers and users of the additives.
- Environmental safety studies
- Study of the natural and chemical stability of the product according to the product's validity
It must comply with all the requirements in the regulations and specifications NO. SFDA.FD GSO 2487.
